About Pliqd

Where students grow together.

We're building a platform where university students collaborate, connect, and unlock opportunities—turning campus into a launchpad for lifelong growth.

Why we built this.

College is meant to be the most social time of your life, yet it's becoming increasingly difficult to make real connections. Traditional apps are filled with noise, and meeting people in lecture halls can be intimidating.

We built Pliqd because we believe students deserve a space that is exclusive to them. A place where you know for a fact that the person you're talking to actually goes to your school or the one down the street.

Our platform isn't just about dating; it's about networking, finding study buddies, and discovering the heartbeat of your campus through events and mixers.

Our Story

Built by students, for students.

Pliqd was created by current University of Dayton students who experienced firsthand the challenges of making meaningful connections on campus.

We saw the gap between wanting to meet people and actually doing it—so we built the solution ourselves. Every feature in Pliqd is designed with the real student experience in mind.
