How to Delete Your Account
You can delete your pliqd account at any time. Here's how:
Option 1: Delete from the App
- Open the pliqd app
- Go to Profile tab
- Tap Settings
- Scroll down to Account section
- Tap Delete Account
- Confirm your decision
Option 2: Request via Email
Send an email to davidobi023@gmail.com with the subject line "Delete My Account" from the email address associated with your pliqd account.
We will process your request within 7 business days.
What Data is Deleted
When you delete your account, the following data is permanently removed:
- Your profile information (name, bio, photos)
- Your posts and comments
- Your connections and matches
- Your messages
- Your class schedule
- Your study bot conversations
- Your location sharing data
- Your subscription and payment history (retained for legal/tax purposes for up to 90 days)
What Data is Retained
For legal and compliance purposes, we may retain:
- Transaction records for up to 90 days after deletion
- Anonymized analytics data that cannot identify you
- Content moderation reports (if applicable)
Active Subscriptions
If you have an active premium subscription, please cancel it before deleting your account:
- iOS: Settings → Apple ID → Subscriptions → pliqd → Cancel
- Android: Google Play → Payments & Subscriptions → Subscriptions → pliqd → Cancel
Deleting your account does not automatically cancel your subscription with Apple or Google.
